All the ingredients here are a world of benefits on their own. Personally, I'm cool toned and pale, so a little goes a long way.
The tingly feel, which is probably due to the ginger and cayenne, will make your lips and cheeks very very plump! I don't know which ingredient is to thank for the coloring but it looks like a natural healthy flush/ like you're having a shy moment or just went for a run but in an extremely flattering fashion.
It puts powdered blushes to shame! Who knew essential oils could do THAT?

Smooth silky lips! Review by Nata

I can't stop putting this on! The smells like cinnamon with hints of flower & made my lips feel so fresh, smooth and tingly :) Should've gotten 2! Goes on with a bit of shine at first, but your lips will absorb most of the oils- which is perfect for me, not really a fan of sticky, glossy lips.

The only drawback I can think of is the colour payoff.. It's not pigmented enough for me. I have tanned golden-olive skin so my lips are naturally darker. Perhaps Nadine would make a more pigmented version of this sometime in the future please? :) (Posted on 4/10/13)

This balm is really cool. Seriously, no one would ever know that you are wearing anything other than your own natural flush! I really love it on the lips. It just seems to enhance the color of your own lips and it seemed to have a slight plumping effect, I'm assuming from the cinnamon. Perfect size to carry with you everywhere. This blushing balm has lasted me a long time and it amazing how little of it I need to use for my cheeks, eyelids and lips. I have never found any natural "make up" that I love... But this is not a make up product, this gives a beautiful glow from within. It not only imparts a rosy tint, it brings circulation to the cheek and lip area, making the whole area soft and glowy and beautiful. This is a must have for anyone. On days I wear no make up, it is perfect alone. On days I wear make up, I put it on lips and cheeks under whatever gloss or bronzer I wear. I was hesitant at first to buy this because most tints are unnatural or sticky but this is natural, the perfect texture and feels like there is nothing on my skin. I know that sounds dramatic, but I've used Maidenfern Blushing Balm for two years now, mostly on my lips. I use it during the day, and before getting into bed for the evening. I love that touch of "sting" that this product imparts, as well as the rosy color it gives my lips. Very natural looking for sure! It's an expensive product, particularly getting it shipped to the US, but would I purchase it again? Absolutely. One little tub lasts a year for me.
