These are bush-berries that grow in swampy and flooded areas of the Amazon (much like the cranberry). Camu is the highest natural source of vitamin C, rich in iron, niacin, anti-oxidants, phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin, beta carotene, minerals and amino acids including serine, valine, and leucine. The terpenes alpha-pinene and d-limonene are also found in these dynamic berries. Our Camu is ecologically wildcrafted in the Peruvian Amazon where it is pulped, macerated and dehydrated.
