Quick Overview

Of all the natural bristle brushes, this is our absolute favorite. The natural bristles of this hairbrush are fine and strong which enables the brush to grip the hair and clean it smoothly and gently.

It is great tool to use in between washings to move the hair's natural oils away from the scalp. It is also gentle and effective to use on wet hair to help the hair to dry less frizzy. A new favorite!

Fantastic--don't underestimate

I have to admit, this brush doesn't look like anything special, but let me assure you it is amazing!!! I have tried a lot of different hair brushes including wooden paddle brushes and all the best Mason-Pearson brushes (which have been my favorites). However I REALLY LOVE THIS BRUSH as well. It is a wonderful hair-smoother!!! My hair can tend to get dry/frizzy especially right after I wash it and this smooths my hair and distributes oils as well or better than My Mason-Pearson brush at a fraction of the cost. It really transforms my hair in seconds and my hair is noticeably more radiant since I started using this brush!!!

100 strokes a day with THIS brush = lovely locks

I have extraordinarily thick, course hair. It felt like a curse throughout my life. Humidity was my nemesis. My journey to radiant, silky hair, has been an amazing experience to self discovery, too First, I noticed that not washing my hair for a week, actually made it softer and more manageable. Then I started putting jojoba in my wet hair, in place of conditioner. I stopped using my hair dryer altogether. Holy soft shiny hair! No more humidity fiasco, either. Enter Living Libations. I use the True Blue Spirulina duo. It's a rain forest getaway in bottles. Amazingly soothing and uplifting product that leaves my tresses literally, with a silky satiny soft look and feel. My hair shines! I now use Seabuckthorn BSE in wet hair and allow it to air dry. I use one squirt of SBSE over my palms and pat it on my hair. Keep in mind...I really do have thick, heavy hair...and one squirt is enough for me. Start with less and find your perfect dose. I don't do the roots. I start about 2 inches or more, down from my roots, then run my fIngers thru my hair to distribute the oil. Cannot stress enough...a little is all you need, or it will get too oily real fast. Next day..and everyday thereafter, I use the brush. This brush is the bomb! The key is not to use it like a typical hairbrush. Now I understand why antique brushes felt like they didn't deep brush like modern brushes. They were ahead of their time. This brush, just like the ones from the days of old, is meant to distribute your hair's natural oil, drawing it away from the roots, and coating each strand to the tips. Light pressure is all you need, otherwise bristles will come out. This brush prolongs the need to wash my hair...and the feeling afterwards is inexplicable! My hairdresser asked me how I keep my hair from damage...as she's running her fingers thru my hair. How often does the professional ask the client? I've also received many compliments on my hair and I'm only *** too glad to share. This brush has worked wonders for my unforgiving, too thick hair. Now, it feels like the hair of a child. I love the way it feels and looks. It doesn't feel cursed anymore. The brush is truly the grand finale to glorious, radiant and flowing locks, everyday. This brush is an investment in keeping my hair a crown of glory. Oh....and it makes the few grey strands in my hair, shine like salon highlights. I'm embracing the transition to my silver crown of glory. Go for it ladies and gentlemen. You are worth it...to feel good about your hair, and allow your true joy to shine through each and every pore on your body. Be warned..others will want to touch. True story.

Caring for Your Wood Brush

Avoid soaking your wood brush in water to avoid swelling and splitting. Jojoba oil and coconut oil are beautiful for cleaning and conditioning them. Using a soft, absorbent cloth, wipe away any remaining oil. If there is buildup from hair products on the comb, use a retired toothbrush to gently scrub it away.
