Why should I eat a raw chocolate beauty bar with superfood herbs?
The chocolate bean has been seen as both sinner and saint, but a regular candy bar? This ain’t! The pure “uncooked” chocolate bean is actually a nourishing plant food. Indigenous cultures of the South America have benefitted from this food for ages. The cacao bean is an amazing superfood rich in minerals (one of the highest sources of magnesium) and nutrients. This special bean combines synergistically with a bounty of botanical herbs for an innovative and uplifting chocolate beauty bar.

Does it contain caffeine?
Only theobromine, which is an enlivening aspect of the chocolate bean. Regularly manufactured chocolate contains a caffeine additive. Feel the energy without the edge!

Isn’t chocolate a “guilty pleasure”?
This chocolate is a smart, satisfying food choice, as it is free of milk solids, dairy, sugar, roasted cocoa fats, and corn syrup. Thus the chocolate is absolutely palatable and rich in magnesium, creating a gleeful chocolate experience. Because it is free of processed sugar and food substances and is rich in real food, you can experience all the pleasure without the guilt!

Why is this chocolate a “Beauty Bar”?
Because this chocolate is unroasted and combined with wholesome herbs, one can take a bite out of this fulsome food making this chocolate a supremely satisfying snack that generates the beauty of a bite well savored.

Why is this chocolate more money than many chocolate bars?
Each elegant artisanal chocolate bar is individually crafted, with ingredients chosen from the best the earth has to offer:

  • Heirloom, forest-grown, organic, family co-op produced cacao beans.
  • Real vanilla beans from Madagascar.
  • Beautiful wild-harvested, organic herbs.
  • Abundances of amazingly potent superfoods (maca, camu, seabuckthorn berries, hemp seeds).
  • No “fillers” of milk, dairy, sugar, cacao powder or cocoa butter.
  • Most bars are made of “melt and pour” chocolate with cacao butter (that has been separated from the bean). Our bars are made just from the chocolate bean that is solely stone ground to release its juiciness and then mixed with the other opulent ingredients.

Is the Living Libations Bar a “smart food”?
This unprocessed (unheated) chocolate bar keeps the powerful balance of plant nutrients intact, while raw chocolate itself is said to encourage feelings of inspiration and bliss – we certainly think that’s pretty smart!

What does Pure Source Chocolate mean?
This means the bean is “clean,” or, forest shade-grown (instead of clear cutting agriculture), ethically harvested, organic and fair trade.
