Fresh pressed from the peels of sweet Brazilian Tangerines. Our oil exudes a tangy citrus aroma and a high concentration of the botanical compound limonene. One of the gentlest oils for pregnant women and children, Tangerine Essential Oil has traditionally been used as a tonic and as a sweet sleep serum. Tangerine is a dream of calm and comfort. The languid effects of Tangerine are often used to comfort pregnant women as they go into labor.
Our essence of Tangerine is a delightful, aromatic dream that always uplifts and gives the gift of rest and relaxation.
"Tangerine, Tangerine, Living reflection from a dream;
I was her love, she was my queen, and now a thousand years between."
~ Led Zeppelin
"Tangerine oil is much imitated. Children and pregnant women usually love this fragrance, but the young at heart also find it enjoyable. Tangerine helps ease tension, fear, sadness, irritability, and sleeplessness. For a relaxing bath, mix tangerine with honey oil, sandalwood, bergamot, tonka bean, or coriander."
~ Susanne Fischer-Rizzi, The Complete Aromatherapy Handbook
